ECOTEX is a reinforced sandwich constructed thermoplastic composite manufactured by laminating Versitex skins on to a chopped long fiber polypropylene and glass core. This low cost material is geared to the environmentally conscious organization seeking value without sacrificing performance. ECOTEX is an excellent alternative to replace wood, steel, fiberglass and other non-reinforced recycled materials.

Product Description: ECOTEX EX Series is a reinforced sandwich constructed thermoplastic composite manufactured by laminating Versitex skins on to a chopped long fiber polypropylene and glass core. This low cost, 100% GREEN sheet offers excellent impact resistant and exhibits thermal expansion similar to aluminum. Ecotex panels provide significant energy absorption over traditional thermoset FRP and wood panels. It also resists rot, corrosion, and mildew and is not affected by cleaning related chemicals. Ecotex can easily be repaired by applying low heat.
